Classes

Classes

Our classes are aimed at children between the ages of 10 and 16 years.

Students at Step Forward Education will take part in a 1 hour, lively and engaging English lesson. There will be a 30-minute break in between sessions, where our learners can take refreshments, stretch their legs, and spend time getting to know their fellow classmates. Students will then take part in a 1 hour Maths lesson.

Our venues have kitchens/lounge areas and outside space for parents/carers to use if they choose to wait. Alternatively, parents are free to drop children off and pick up at the end of the session. Please note, restrictions may apply due to Covid-19 regulations.

All teachers at Step Forward Education are CRB checked, have relevant insurance, and comply with GDPR regulations.

To provide the best possible experience for your son/daughter, we would like to know as much as possible about their learning style. Please complete the attached information form at the time of booking.

What we will cover in English

Command and mastery of the English language is a necessity across every avenue of life. Whether our young people foster aspirations to attend University; start their own business; apply for a job or simply write an email that they wish to be taken seriously; our ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate our ideas effectively is pivotal to our success and well-being. As an experienced educator for over 12 years, I have learnt that the best way to help my students succeed, is to open their minds to the skills they already have and build upon them.

It has been said many times that success is a journey, not a destination. This could not be truer for maths, and together we will explore the wonders of learning and extend your understanding.

Lessons will be themed around the following topics and will always have a link to real life application.
